Interior design is a relevantly new practical course.It is formed and developed base on the architecture design.The design involved with indoor natural and culture environment.Design aim is not simply make decision about constructing indoor space or furnishing.The ultimate goal we want to achieve is to satisfy demand functionally and spiritually.From technical point of view, interior design involve with varies subject such as design, construction, application of materials and project management which create diversification in design.With the rapid development of the economic globalization in recent years, there is magnificent improvement on China’s economy and living standard of people.This causes an increasing demand of indoor environment and the designers who have enormous potentials.Interior design becomes one of the most popular studying area which starts to draw more attention from most of the universities.However the large amount of input will not produce satisfied returns.The actual situation is large number of students are not competent for their position at the beginning of their career and as a result training progress is always needed before they ready to undertake a real task.In aim to build a brand new scheme to train designers fit into continuously developed interior design industry, the improvement of academy teaching concept becomes the key factor.

In term of Interior Designer training method, the backwards method of teaching and outdated question been asked are the major problems we need to concerned.The course structure suggests that most of the universities set high value on academic results rather than practical skills.Lack of guidance for student to learn initiatively, knowledge is taught to student directly.The students taught in this way will resultant in lack of core spirit of design, no ability to think creatively.Their designs usually are repeated and similar with existing idea of famous designer abroad.These existing ideas are combined, restructured and reused as a new design.During the practice workshop, the targets are only set to provide a virtual proposition for student to design without considering the condition in reality.During the studying only design concept and theory are taught, there is no opportunity for students to gain practical experience.

1. Consideration on personnel educating

Personal quality will influence the selfdevelopment and personal value, regarded as key factor during interior design education.Most of educational institution put main emphasis on training technical skill and personality developments are often ignored.During the education specialized training and practicing should be applied to student in aim to help them facing the challenge in the future.

(1) Developing communication skill

Interior design is a subject involved with the concept of a point facing the surface.This is one of the characters which make interior design different from other design subjects.Designer is the point and the surfaces he is facing are the clients who have different cultures, educational backgrounds, financial conditions and their own preferences.First of all designer should have the ability to identify the basic needs of a client and collect first-hand information for design planning during the first meeting.Secondly designer has to present the projects and design progress to the clients in a simplest way, make sure they are updated and satisfied with the decision you made for them.Clearly communication skill is crucial to an interior designer and it is also an important factor to success.However most of the university students find themselves difficult to communicate with others.Usually they are hardly trained in communication, as the results their show certain behaviors such as low initiative to talk to others, ignoring the importance of trivial little detail, no willingness to learn from seniors colleges, no skills on working with others as a team and no common sense on building a reliable relationship with others.Communication skill is a basic personal quality of an interior designer.However we often ignore the importance of it due to the miss leading from current teaching technique.

(2) Train to work as a team

Although the Interior Design Education is categorized in Arts Education but it has many unique features apart from art studying.The characteristic of this subject is involved with wide range of knowledge, techniques in different levels and intersecting knowledge between other subjects.In practical interior designer has to work with a construction project and cooperate with all kinds of technicians such as construction workers, structure constructors, infrastructure constructors, construction material suppliers, project managers and representatives of clients.Designers are required to have the skill to play as a leader in the team in order to implement his design concept.Current Design Education has paid too much attention on development of individual personality which leads to a miss understanding of key feature in design project, cooperative.During teaching, lecturer should consciously guide students to cooperate and develop their coordinate abilities base on their understanding gained from practical experience.Learning from each other and searching a solution to solve the problems cooperatively are key features for design education during which student will develop their cooperative skills and practical skills.

2. Improvement on Interior Design course structure

In aim to investigate the improvement on arts and design course structure, first of all we must understand the objective of it.The purpose of Interior design education, as a part of Arts courses, is based on concept and characteristics of Art Education.The objectives are developed into multiple and comprehensive levels which should be adjusted and reconstructed base on the needs of design industry market which is constantly developing during these years.

(1) Pay more attention on engineering courses

Currently engineering courses take small proportions in interior design courses.This is because most of people see it as art branch which is inherited from our traditional crafts and arts design, rather than seeing it developed from architecture.As the result students have very superficial understanding on space constructing in architecture point of view, they are more interested in the aesthetic value of the design and good appearance get from the pieces but not the practical applications of the design.

By improving their understanding of substance in architecture, students will be able to compromise interior design with architecture.Thus project can be design in a unified perspective way and this is the fundamental requirement for student to become a designer.A qualified designer should have profound understanding on external and internal environment of his design and should be able to coordinate between these two.

Interior design lecturer has to have wealth experience on engineering practice and also familiar with code, construction techniques and features of materials.The understanding of varies construction processes and familiar with the features between different materials are basic requirement for a teacher who has the responsibility to pass these knowledge to student.Material properties, special words and language used in design and the virtual effects of spacing are used as tools that help them to realize the purpose of interior design is to complete an art about space using construction.Students should be allowed to visit construction site and catch up the deficiency of practical knowledge that cannot be taught in the lectures.

(2) Improvement on accumulating knowledge from relative subjects

Interior design is a comprehensive practical discipline, it interacts with varies subjects.From knowledge point of view, it covers varies subjects from different technical fields such as aesthetics, environmental studies, human behavior, psychology, human body engineering, material studies, architecture, construction, graphical design and software application.Interior design is neither a traditional craft art nor a design process based on engineering techniques, therefore the lectures for these relative subjects should be flexible and teaching materials should be selected carefully to support the needs of main purpose.There is lack of comprehensive and systematic teaching materials for interior design courses.This brings a certain degree of difficulty on build up the course structures and teaching techniques.Commonly the course will be set up creatively based on understanding of art education, features of subject, physical and mental development of students, combined with actual resources and teaching materials available in university and requirements of employers and companies.The aim of interior design education shouldn’t only point to the computer graphical skills;knowledge from relative subjects are required as well.

3. Reforming Interior design education strategy

Currently our teaching and training method is relatively lagged behind.Students are only taught how to use 3DMax to produce a three dimensional graphical drawing.There are hardly few trainings considering guiding students to think creatively and in aim to improve their personal quality, most of their designs are mediocre and will eventually be obsolete.To prevent this happening we must searching an innovative and effective way to reform the concepts of interior design education.

(1) Carrying out open teaching strategies and learning from experience

Currently the major problem arise from interior design education is the rigid teaching method used and outdated teaching techniques cannot meet the need of developing market and companies.For example, during the class most of students will be able to complete the learning task without any problems, but after their graduation they don’t know how to start when they deal with a real design project.Employers are disappointed by students who seems not eligible to competent their jobs and students complain about they had not been taught enough knowledge in the university.Personally, I think the problem occurs during the teaching process.The course is constructed with separating units which are not relative to each other and subjects taught are not relevance.Interaction between students is limited due to they are split into different classes.Interior design is comprehensive subject therefore establishing a systematic, practical and comprehensive teaching system is particularly important for education.

To break the barriers between courses and eliminate the boundaries between the classes and grades, comprehensive practical teaching can be considered base on characteristic of interior design.Design project can be setting out under actual practical working condition involved with both 2nd and 3rd year students.The project can last about three weeks during the term 2.In order to participate, four or five students can be signed into a group which includes at least two 3rd year students and two 2nd year students and between two or three groups there will be one or two teachers to guide them.The design requirements should be set up to simulate a real design project.At the end a bid can be carried out in aim to selecting the best design of the year and all the design will be presented to public in an exhibition.During the project design weeks engineering experts and constructor should be invited to give lectures on practical skills and techniques on particular area.

The cooperation within a group emphasizes the competition among the students and making academic teaching more close to actual working condition.We can teach the knowledge base on practice and student will learn from their own experiences in term to understanding the course.Teacher will guide students to realize that a successful interior design project will reflects the overall qualities of a designer, thus it will let students to draw more attention to their personal quality development during academic studying.It is a good way to set up earlier professional ethics and is found more acceptable than traditional ethics teaching.

(2) Development of creative thinking

In daily teaching, we should really concern about how to guide students to develop and improve their creative thinking skill.There is a lack on teaching method aimed to support creative skill trainings, therefore students are hardly trained during their studying.Generally speaking training for creative thinking should carry out imperceptibly during teaching every day.The training can only be effective if it lasts a long time with the guidance and encouraging from a teacher.

In practice, according to different subject strategies, the lecture can be associated with different sorts of activities taking place outside the university such as site visit and joining the open day of a design company.This provides the opportunities for young designers to gain valuable experience by putting them into an actual working condition.On the other hand extra-curricular reading list can be expanded across wide range of subjects and seminars can be scheduled to develop their awareness of the design strategy.Also making good use of museums and galleries are particularly benefit.These facilities can be seen as a second class which plays its rolls outside the university.Most of them are opened freely to students and art pieces and the atmosphere will make great influences on students, broadening their scope of Knowledge and their minds.University academic studying should be open approached and independent, reformation of credit system will provide student more choices on different subjects and on their self-improvements.After taking the compulsory subjects, additional election courses should be available to create a condition in which students can accept and learn non-professional knowledge consciously and improve their overall personal qualities.

1运用英语歌曲在复习课堂的意义

在心理学中,对学习起决定作用的非智力因素包括:动机、兴趣、情感、意志等。它是人们积极主动地认识客观事物的一种心理倾向,表现为一种好学精神,时时在起作用的最现实、最活跃的原动力。把听唱英文歌曲作为课前warming up,能振奋学生的精神,提高学生的学习兴趣,增强学生的参与意识,从而为学生创造良好的英语学习氛围。这恰恰是我们教师所追求的:营造一个和谐、宽松的课堂氛围,让学生“在乐中学,在学中乐”。特别初三繁重的复习任务,往往一首歌曲可以使学生课前充满兴趣,学生在听取歌曲的同时也会思考一下,老师在课堂会复习哪些相关的内容。

2英语歌曲在初三复习各大模块中的作用

2.1听英语歌曲复习语法专题

初三复习中,第二模块是语法专题的复习。里面包括了名词,冠词,代词,定语从句,宾语从句等语法知识。学生从英文歌曲中能复习到不少语言知识,而且会记忆得格外深刻。例如,英语歌曲“Because you loved me”这首歌里面可以让学生复习了定语从句的用法。首先通过听歌选词要复习,先行词是人的时候,用who,that.如:

You're the one who (held/help ) me up.

Never let me (fall/far) .

You’re the one who saw me(through/too).

Through it (all /for).

2.2英语歌曲扩充和复习中考考纲词汇

英文歌曲中含有大量的词汇,学生在学唱歌的时候自然而然就接触到了许多的词汇。单词是英语的基础,单词构成的句子是考试写作应用的一个必不可少的语言要素。学生反映死记硬背把中考考纲的词汇记下来后,非常容易遗忘并且不知道如何运用单词。如果通过阅读歌曲,学生把注意力集中到记忆句子上面,会发现里面的单词自然就记下来了。例如,在《Because you loved me》这首歌中,我们可以学到如:truth 事实,真理 、joy快乐、thankful感激的,感谢的、forever 永远、strength能量、faith信心、make… see, stand by,bring …to,hold (lift) … up、make right、make… see、make …come true等一系列中考考纲词汇, 多听、多唱几遍,这些词汇犹如烙印一般,深深的镌刻于脑海之间。

2.3英语歌曲提升阅读水平

通过精读歌词,为了进一步提高阅读水平,部分叙述性的歌曲可以当成文章来阅读,让学生找出所学过的知识点,以便复习。在了解大意的基础上,让学生以句子为单位,翻译出一些好句,以便理解。如:
