Last week , I have a chance to watch this film in English class . The first sense perception that it gives to me is wonderful . Beside, which makes me feel sad .

Celie Harris is the main heroine of this film , when she is young ,she has led a miserable life . She is ugly in people’s eyes ,she also has a poor family ,but it’s hard to imagine ,her stepfather rapes her,and she has two children when she is only fourteen .and then , when she is sixteen ,she is ordered by her father to married with Albert Johnson ,which makes her became a servant and a tool that her husband vent . Until Shug goes into her life ,her life with darkness and no free change s gradually . Finally , she gets together with her sister and her children .In the contrat , her husband’s life is dramatic , In the beginning ,he always abuses Celie ,more importantly ,he doesn’t give any rights to her ,which reacts the theme of this movie , In that century , color people is discriminated , In white people’s eyes , they should live in the bottom of world . In fact , Johnson’s life satires this . When the film does into the last , heroine gets together with her sister ,but , Johnson is only a passing traveler . Maybe this which we all can image , because english teacher gives me some several suggestions before we watched .The movie is wonderful , which explains truth in that century .
